‘Lack of supervision and lack of control’: Two families file suit against Washington daycare

On July 17, 2025, Attorney Kevin J. Golden filed a lawsuit in Tazewell County, Illinois, against Childtime Childcare Inc., who is the owner of Childtime Learning Centers in Washington, Illinois. Dudley & Lake, LLC, represents two mothers and their young children who attended the day care at Childtime. The minors were physically abused while attending the daycare and the abuse had been reported to Childtime. Childtime failed to properly investigate the abuse and has a history of ignoring complaints about employees.
